I. Buy two and get one free add-on sale

Until close of business September 15, users who owned NeuroShell Trader Professional or DayTrader Professional prior to September 1, 2009, may purchase two of our Ward Systems Group add-ons and receive a third add-on for free. The free add-on must be one that Ward Systems created, however, the two you purchase may include those from Mesa Software and Richey Enterprises. For more info visit:

1. DTN data feed. Thanks to all of our users who subscribed early during the beta testing of the DTN data feed. There were several problems that were found and corrected both by DTN and WSG with the excellent help of several beta testers. We are very happy that we now have a replacement for Prophet.net that has more history and far more choices of exchanges and data types, including range, volume, tick, and second bars.

2. Dial Data feed. We have recently discovered that the Dial Data feed that was supplied to us years ago by Track Data does not work on 64 bit operating systems. So if you are a Dial Data user, keep using your 32 bit OS.

2. August. August got away from us here at WSG and we never got an August newsletter out, for which we apologize. August is a slow month anyway with people all over the northern hemisphere on vacation, including many of us.

3. September and October. As most of you know, September is typically a bad month for stock markets, and many crashes have occurred in October. I hope our buy one and get one free add-on sale (above) will provide an opportunity for some of you to get a boost during this period and beyond. The product manuals are online, but feel free to call and discuss add-on choices with our staff (please don’t ask to discuss by email, though, because the add-ons are just too numerous and complex for that).

4. Release 5.6. We are now distributing free a new NeuroShell release candidate, release candidate 4. We are hoping this will become release 5.6 in a few weeks. This release fixes a few problems with the IB trading interface, including the previous inability to access an IB Advisor account. Thanks to the help of one of our users, you should now be able to trade an Advisor account using the profile method and a corresponding profile named “NeuroShell”.

IV. One way to stop this newsletter

It is really easy. Just change your email address and don’t tell us.
