I. Seminar news

We now have a very healthy attendance list of about 20 users for our Florida Seminar scheduled for March 27 – 29. Among the attendees will be Shashi Mehrotra of the Legend Group ( http://www.neuroshell.com/traders.asp?task=interviews&id=6 ) and Mark Simpson of Bowfort Technologies ( www.bowfort.com ), two users who will be exciting to talk to for their expertise. (Shashi said he learned some of the techniques for one of his successful models at a previous seminar.) We have other users who are coming from as far away as Sweden and Singapore. We can only take about 10 more attendees at the Seminar, so sign up before it is too late. We’re striving to create an interactive, casual atmosphere where seminar leaders and participants can learn from each other.

The daily schedule is easy. The seminar runs from 8 am to 1 pm so you can relax the rest of the day, or spend it with the other traders in attendance. Optional workshops March 27 and 28 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm allow ideas and strategies to be freely exchanged and discussed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A block of rooms has been reserved for seminar attendees at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Melbourne, Florida, at a cost of $149/night (plus 11% state and local taxes). The rate includes single or double occupancy. The oceanfront rooms come with private balconies. As of February 14, there are still rooms available at the $149 rate. Call 321 777 5000 as soon as possible but absolutely no later than FEBRUARY 23, 2007. After February 23, 2007, or after the block rooms are gone, the hotel will accept reservations on a space available basis at the current room rates. The usual corporate rate for these rooms is $239.95-$299.95.

Bowfort Technologies are offering the following discount to seminar attendees before and during the seminar:

IBFeed Pro / IBFeed 2nd, 3rd, 4th Month Free
mYFeed 2nd, 3rd, 4th Month Free
Fuzzy Candlesticks 50% Discount

II. IBFeed Professional / IBFeed Version 2.2 Released

Bowfort Technologies has just released a new version of its data feed for Interactive Brokers. You can now access up to 1 year of historical data and it works with NeuroShell Trader 4 and NeuroShell Trader 5. The data is free if you have an IB trading account, with the addition of a monthly fee for the datafeed interface from Bowfort Technologies (IBFeed). Another advantage is that you can analyze the same data you’re trading (removes the disparity between separate brokers and data providers). IBFeed can also be combined with the automated trading feature in NeuroShell 5.

Plus, mention you saw this offer in the February newsletter and get your 2nd month free!

III. Bowfort Technologies launches “Bowfort mYFeed”

mYFeed is a daily / weekly / monthly data feed for a well-known free web data source, that integrates seamlessly with NeuroShell Trader, Trader Professional, or DayTrader Professional

You can save money, as the data is free on the web. Historical data with mYFeed extends to the maximum permitted by NeuroShell (currently 77 years). Coverage is both US and International and there are just under 1/4 million predefined Stocks, Indices, Mutual Funds and ETFs.

This data feed is fast, typically loading 77 years of historical data in 5 seconds. It doesn’t require the time consuming process of manually downloading and importing data that’s present with other EOD providers. A nominal monthly fee is charged for the convenience this product provides.
