In this example, we started with the chart of Example 1. Then we inserted two Alerts, one to tell us when to buy, and one to tell us when to sell. We appropriately colored one blue and one red. Finally, we moved both alerts to the same subchart.
The two alerts each make different sounds when they fire. If you want to examine how an alert was coded, just double click on one of the legends “Buy alert” or “Sell alert”.
Alerts are pretty powerful in that they can tell you when just about any true-false condition has occurred.
