Calculation:
If current Closing Price > Closing Price one period ago then equals Closing Price – Low Price.
If current Closing Price < Closing Price one period ago then equals Closing Price – High Price.
If current Closing Price = Closing Price one period ago then equals zero.
Discussion:
Provides a measure of price momentum. Positive values indicate a strong upward momentum, while negative values indicate a strong downward momentum.
