The Save Trading Strategy Template dialog saves the current trading strategy as a new trading strategy template. Saving the trading strategy as a template allows you to apply the same trading strategy to different charts without having to recreate the trading strategy from scratch.
To save a trading strategy template:
- In the Name text box, enter the name of the template which you wish to create from the current trading strategy.
- In the Create In box select the template folder in which you wish to save the trading strategy template. To create a new folder, press the New Folder button.
- Press the OK button.
Once saved, the template will be shown on the first page of the trading strategy wizard when inserting a new trading strategy.
