Running NeuroShell on a Mac

Although Ward Systems has no experience or support for running NeuroShell on an Intel Mac computer, user Mark Simpson runs NeuroShell on his Intel Mac all the time and provides this tip to tell how:

Neuroshell runs in a regular window on a mac.

Recommended Setup:

Requirements:

1. Hardware: Intel Mac (not supported on PowerPC).
2. Mac OSX Tiger 10.4.8 or better.
3. Parallels Desktop for Mac http://www.parallels.com/
4. Windows XP

Installation:

1. Install Parallels Desktop for Mac
2. Install Windows XP as a virtual machine inside parallels
3. Install Parallels Tools
4. Install Neuroshell
5. Run Parallels in Coherence mode (optional)
6. When running in coherence mode, it’s recommended to put your Windows Launch bar on the left hand side and auto-hide it.

You can also install bootcamp and run parallels from a bootcamp partition, however a parallels only installation is simpler and easier
to backup.
