I. A MetaTrader datafeed – MTBridge
Bowfort Technologies has announced a beta test of their new datafeed product: Bowfort MTBridge. MTBridge brings real-time and historical intraday data from MetaTrader 4 into NeuroShell.
MTBridge also works with MetaTrader demo accounts, so it only takes a few minutes to set up. MetaTrader 4 is a popular platform for Forex, CFD, Futures, Indices and other securities. You don’t need to fund a demo account and MetaTrader 4 is a free download.

II. Comments from Steve Ward, CEO
1. Gain/Forex.com Datafeed. In our March newsletter we announced a call for beta testers for a new Gain/Forex.com datafeed, made and sold by Docuvest. That feed is working quite well now and I expect we will be posting a link for it on NeuroShell.com before too long. The Docuvest-Gain feed has intra-day data back to January 2008, and all bar data loads rapidly. Tick data is also available, so much that care must be taken to avoid exceeding NeuroShell memory limitations.
It is my understanding that Docuvest also intends to provide even deeper historical depth, and to build a NeuroShell integrated trading interface for Forex.com.
2. MetaTrader 4 Datafeed. It has been a couple of years now since a MetaTrader 4 interface was available. The company that built the last one is no longer viable or even answering emails. However, Bowfort Technologies has now made a new MetaTrader data interface, which I think is superior. See article I above for details. Most of you are aware of the high quality of Bowfort’s work and technical support for all of their current products, including IBFeed, MYFeed and a number of excellent indicators.
Bowfort has told me that future enhancements will include an integrated trading interface, and MT5 support.
3. Summer hours. As in summers past, we will be closing Ward Systems before 5 PM many days during the summer, before summer thunderstorms tend to roll in here on the East Coast. In addition, we will regularly be closing at 4 PM on Fridays until further notice, so we can get to our Friday Happy Hour earlier! So make sure you get your business done with us well before 4 PM Eastern.
