Please note that this tip has been revised. The original tip was created with a code received directly from Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities. However, this code was different from what was published. To make sure we have the correct code, we contacted John Ehlers and have since added missing portions of the code.
For reference, the types and the appropriate value to use in the indicator in the NeuroShell Trader are as follows:
- 1 = EMA
- 2 = SMA
- 3 = Gauss
- 4 = Butter
- 5 = Smooth
- 6 = HP
- 7 = 2PHP
- 8 = BP
- 9 = BS
Please also note that DFT was not included as it was not included in John Ehler’s code. Please refer to his note in the original article about the DFT and why it was not included.
