1. Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities Readers’ Choice Awards
Well, thanks to you – our user, we have once again won the Readers’ Choice Award for Artificial Intelligence software. This is the sixth year in a row we have placed #1 ahead of some well financed competitors. Marge Sherald and I went to New York at a ceremony at the Trader’s Expo show where Marge received the award. Marge thanked the magazine, our users, and our employees for making it all happen. Our users really do contribute a lot to our success, not just for voting, but for understanding when we have bugs or other problems, for making good suggestions, and for spreading the word about us.
We also were a semi-finalist behind Equis and eSignal in the general category of Standalone Analytical Software, $1000 and more. That means readers like us more than they like dozens and dozens of “non-intelligent” traditional products! I think that is an accomplishment, considering we never intended to compete against anything other than AI products.
The big surprise was that MESA for NeuroShell Trader was a semi-finalist in the category of Software Plug-ins. MESA for TradeStation was also a semi-finalist. I can’t help but think that had not votes been split for two versions of essentially the same plug-in, MESA might have won first place!
