I. NeuroShell Trader 4.0 news
So far our conversion to release 4.0 is going well with far less problems than expected. The major problem encountered by users so far seem to be issues with the older operating systems – Windows 98 and NT which we no longer support. It seems that many features of those systems have been improved through the years, resulting in far fewer problems with Windows 2000 and XP.
Nevertheless, we have found a number of real bugs and we are actually now shipping release 4.1! If you haven’t yet received your copy of 4.0, you will receive 4.1 instead. If you did get 4.0 already, you can now download from www.ward.net the 4.1 “patch” to enhance 4.0. Please note that the patch can only be applied to 4.0. The patch does not require a completely new install and works right over the Internet.

II. Lower Intraday data prices available
In release 4.1 we added the ability to download intraday data from Prophet.net with an integrated server. This company has very low prices, so give them a try. For either US Equity markets or US Futures markets you pay only $29.95/month, and for both you pay only $39.95/month. Real time fees charged by the exchanges are not included. Prophet.net historical intraday data goes back 60 days, which should be more than enough for small bars.
Prophet also has some very reasonable end-of day prices as well.

III. Prices are now higher for non-trading products and add-ons
As we mentioned that we would have to do in previous newsletters, we have raised prices on our non-trading software. This includes the AI Trilogy, NeuroShell Predictor, NeuroShell Classifier, NeuroShell RunTime Server, GeneHunter, and NeuroShell 2. The new prices also include the new $75 fee for a CD. Internet download prices are $75 less than the prices shown below. Some of the upgrade prices are a little higher too.

IV. Make sure you continue to get the news
We were surprised when, after we sent out our June newsletter announcing release 4.0, several of our users called or emailed to ask when release 4.0 would be available. Seems they all changed their email addresses and never notified us of that. So now they’re on the end of our 4.0/4.1 distribution list. There are many others, no doubt, who still don’t know about release 4.0.
We also frequently get calls from NeuroShell 2 users who don’t know about NeuroShell 2 release 4.0, and who don’t know that we have newer, better, faster, more accurate products. So they’re stuck trying to impress their bosses with older technology.
