Source Code for Tips from TA of Stocks and Commodities Magazine and Other Sources

From time to time we are asked for source code for the indicators we write to implement solutions described in the Trader’s Tips section of Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities Magazine as well as other magazines like Active Trader. It is never necessary for NeuroShell users to understand this code in order to use the DLL that we supply in another section of this website. However, we understand that some of our users may want this code to modify or to use in programming private trading systems. We will supply this code to you as long as you agree to the following:

1. Often, several hours of work may have gone into the development of this code, and in order to recoup some of our costs, we are selling it instead of providing it free. The cost is $99 for each DLL’s source code. Some DLLs may have been very short, and some long and involved, but we have nevertheless priced all the same. If you want free samples of DLL source code, we provide them at other sections of this web site.

2. Source code is emailed only, and cannot be returned for a refund once it is sent.

3. The code is usually in C, but sometimes in PowerBasic. We cannot assist you in any way to understand, use, or compile this code.

4. The code is supplied “as is” and may contain bugs which we will not fix. We do not guarantee it will compile on any compiler, and our only guarantee is that we complied it once on one of our compilers to produce the DLL.

5. The source code may not be used in any other commercially available “off the shelf” software. You may use it only for your own trading systems or for “one time” contracts you may have undertaken to develop a trading system which will not become available to the general public.

6. You may not give away or resell the source code.
