I. San Francisco Trader Seminar?

In the past we have held advanced NeuroShell Trader classes/seminars in Melbourne, Florida. Then we went to online classes for a couple of years to keep the price down and make the class available to those who couldn’t get away for several days. Now there seems to be a pent up demand for another in-person seminar, because of the opportunity it provides to meet other traders and NeuroShell users. Many attendees of our Florida seminars have stated that the contacts they made with one another were perhaps the most important feature of the seminar!

Therefore, we are CONSIDERING our first West Coast Advanced NeuroShell User’s Seminar at a hotel near Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, April 2-4, 2003.

Cost would be $1695 per person to attend the seminar (hotel room is not included in that price).

Marc Chaikin, former CNBC commentator and author of the Chaikin Oscillator, will attend the seminar and has agreed to be a guest speaker.

If you feel you would DEFINITELY attend this seminar, we ask you to email us at sales@wardsystems.com, or call Steve or Marge at 301-662-7950. If we get at least 20 positive responses by Tuesday, February 11, we will go ahead with the arrangements.

II. Keep your promises to your Valentine sale

You told her you were going to retire early on your investments. Then the big bubble burst. So you told her, no problem, traders can make money even in a bear market. Then the market turned volatile. You told her it won’t be long before you move her out of the winter cold, rain, and snow to a warm paradise, but you just need a little more time. Then the market turned chaotic as war and scandal after scandal hit the news. It wasn’t your fault! But now when you say these things she’s too polite to tell you what she really thinks: “Yeah, right!”

It’s time to keep your promises to your Valentine before she runs off with one of our other customers. It’s time to heed the old adage that you have to spend a little money to make money. It’s time to get the power tools to help you implement, test, and turn your ideas into trading or investment systems. It’s time to get the NeuroShell Trader!

We’re going to help you keep your promises. If you’re willing to get your act together before Valentine’s day is over, we’re going to give you 20% off all of the NeuroShell Trader series and all of our NeuroShell Trader addons! We’re even going to include the NeuroShell Classifier in this sale, because it is great for making long term investments using fundamental data, in case trading isn’t your cup of tea.

Remember, our tools aren’t get rich quick schemes; go somewhere else to lose your money on those. (If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!) We just sell powerful tools, which include but aren’t limited to artificial intelligence. You’re going to have to put in a lot of work to build winning systems even with these tools, because there’s yet another old adage you need to remember: There’s no free lunch!

This offer ends midnight February 14, 2003. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Are you tough enough to keep your promises and get going by then?

This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, discount, or promotion, and you must mention “Keep your promises to your Valentine” when you purchase. Sale cannot be applied to previous purchases.

III. Multiple time frames in NeuroShell Trader

Many of you have wished you could make trading strategies and neural nets based on 7 minute bars, 3 day bars, 87 minute bars, etc. Now your wish has come true, thanks to a new add-on vendor. The vendor is Emmetropia, and they have accomplished their magic by building Multiple Timeframe Indicators.

NST-MTI Release 1.0 is a software add-on for Neuroshell Trader that contains 300+ indicators to support multiple timeframe indicator analysis and optimization. The Base Timeframe data of a Neuroshell Trader Chart is used as the basis for calculating and displaying multiple, larger timeframe indicator values on that Chart.

Don’t know what bar size to use? No problem. NST-MTI also provides additional parameter means for tuning the calculation of multiple timeframe indicator values!

NST-MTI does NOT use multiple charts to calculate multiple timeframe values. And NST-MTI does NOT contain it’s own “special version” of each indicator so you have to worry about cross timeframe indicator consistency.

IV. Thanks for your vote!

Voting for the Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities 2003 Readers Choice Awards is now over, and we happen to know already that we did very, very well, thanks to you. We’ll be able to announce the results in the next newsletter.

V. Passwords on www.ward.net

Seems like our competition doesn’t give their users enough advice and information, because a great number of them have been using the Ward Systems Group Advanced User’s Technical Support web site for help and ideas, not to mention others who have purloined copies of our software.

Frankly, we don’t think this is fair to you, our paying users. We depend upon NEW sales to keep bringing you new releases and technical support. If someone can get a cheaper product elsewhere, or a free copy of our software from their friend, and still get help from us, then that doesn’t help us bring you the services in the future. You want your investment in our software to last and so do we. You want us to be here when you need us, and we want to be here too.

Therefore, we now require a password to access www.ward.net. Send us an email to password@ward.net, along with your serial number(s), name, current mailing address, and desired password, and we will authorize you. Please do not give anyone else your password.

We apologize if anyone is inconvenienced by this new policy, but now we hope you see that we did it for YOU as well as for us.

VI. No more newsletters in the future?

No, we aren’t ending this newsletter. But you will think we did if you change your email address and don’t send us your new one!
